Bollywood Actor and producer Aamir Khan has been dragged to court for showing the obsence and vulgarity in the film Delhi Belly which was released on last Friday. The complaint was filed by the event manager and a small time film maker Farah Ayaz Ghani . Complaint was filled on 8th July against producers — Aamir Khan, his wife Kiran Rao and Ronnie Screwvala — director Abhinay Deol and writer Akshat Verma under various sections of IPC.
The film makers have been charged under IPC sections 292 (obscenity) and 295 (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage the feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs).Magistrate Vasant Patil has fixed july 27th as the hearing date for complaint against the film makers of Delhi Belly,her lawyer Prashant Pansare told the PTI.
Farah Ayaz Ghani alleged that lot of abusive language has been used in the film and vulfarity in the film has crossed its limit. Film even shows bollywood actor (Imran Khan) in a kissing scene with the actress (Poorna Jagannathan). In this kissing scene both the Actors were in Burkha, which hurts the religious sentiments of the minority community because according to the religious views Burkha does not allowes such acts, the complainet mentioned.
